Our pigs are raised in part wooded, part pasture plots and are rotated on a regular basis. Our farrowing pen is a lovely shaded area in the woods with a large wallow. When sows are in the farrowing area they are brought fresh cut grass to snack on.
Our feeder pigs are raised out on pasture and a good portion of their diet is greens. Additionally they enjoy a non-gmo grain twice a day. They enjoy running through the tall grass and taking a quick dip in their turtle pool on warm days.
